Goal Pathways

Students can set goals and work towards improving their skills in the following areas: 

Apprenticeship:

  • receive support to explore Apprenticeship opportunities
  • build skills to enter Apprenticeship program
  • apply to Apprenticeship program

Post Secondary Preparation:

  • build your academic skills to prepare for Post Secondary study
  • research and select the right college or university program
  • learn how to apply to college or university
  • learn about distance education opportunities

Secondary School Credit:

·         Strengthen the skills you need to complete your Ontario Secondary School Diploma
·         Using Prior Learning Assessment Recognition (PLAR) you may be closer than you think to graduation

Employment:

·         Build skills to apply for the job you want
·         Learn career specific skills that can be applied to a different job
·         Increase your skills to achieve a promotion in your present job

Independence:

  • develop skills to help with your everyday literacy needs
  • learn to use a computer, fill in forms, read memos
  • build skills to volunteer in your community
